Update 2.0.5 is now available on the App Store and brings bug fixes and improvements. Here’s the full rundown:

Fixes

◎ Places saved in the wrong location → The automatically filled-in place could end up on the other side of the world: a win written in a specific neighborhood of Kyoto would show up in Australia, for example. Potch now keeps the real GPS position along with the suggested address, and also with the address from a shared photo. If you edit the address by hand, Potch looks for the place around you first.

◎ Word count in Japanese and Chinese → An entire win written in Japanese or Chinese counted as a single word. The counter now recognizes words in every language, and small standalone particles aren’t counted. Word counts for wins you’ve already written are recalculated automatically on iPhone, Apple Watch and Apple TV.

◎ Duplicate places in the Top 10 → Changing your iPhone’s language could create the same place twice (Kyoto in Latin letters and Kyoto in Japanese, for example). Each place now appears only once, whatever the language.

◎ Wins filed under the wrong date while traveling → After a time zone change, a win could slip to the day before or the day after. Each win now stays on the day it was written. This also fixes the weather of the day, the calendar, streaks, recaps, the Journey, search and the badges for special dates (Christmas, Easter…).

◎ “Location not enabled” mistaken for a city → This text is no longer saved as a win’s location.

■ Updated translations and minor stability improvements.
